Il m'est possible de créer une version iOS sans trop de difficulté (comme la version Android). Le problème vient des politiques concernant le contenu pour adulte de l'Apple store. Mon jeu ne respecte pas ces règles, je ne peux donc pas le publier sur l'Apple store (comme sur le Google play d'ailleurs, seule la démo y est publiée). Mais là où sur Android, il est possible d'installer relativement facilement une application tiers (fichiers .apk), ce n'est pas le cas sur iOS. Il est donc très difficile d'installer une application sur iOS qui ne provienne pas du Apple store, et je ne peux pas mettre mon jeu complet sur le store. Je suis donc bloqué concernant la publication d'une version iOS...
La seule solution restante est la création d'une version totalement censurée et la publication de cette version sur l'Apple Store. Mais je ne suis pas sûr que le jeu en vaille la chandelle.

I think this was a game with a lot of potential, but it falls short because of two things in my opinion
1. In so many instances it tells us characters do things rather than showing. For instance it'll say " they had a long conversation that went into the night where they grew closer as friends" but we never actually get to see that conversation. I'm not saying everything is handled this way, but it happens so often especially near the beginning of the game that it was a challenge to honestly get invested. I almost left before it got to something good.
2. The sex scenes were....less than appealing. I get that the art style is the art style. But the way they were illustrated...it didn't look sexy, actually a lot of the sex scenes visually looked less than attractive. I can forgive the soft and respectful way they refer to dicks or butts, even though it got old after a while, but the actual images made the characters (characters I thought looked sexy and nice) suddenly look oily and uncomfortably placed.
With that being said, I think the amount of choices available in this game was awesome. Characters actually got some good development even if it took time to happen. And there was a bet of suspense and tension I enjoyed. There's a lot here to love, but those two things I pointed out are holding me back from that. I'd give this game a 5 out of 5. it could have been extra special but too many short cuts taken in the writing, and the porn parts left too much to be desired.
All set, i think this is a website issue that happens with itch hosting the downloads directly from time to time which is why quite a few developers post a google drive or secondary site link. Thank you for your work on this project it was super fun :)
Good game. I'm having a bunch of fun with it. Any chance there will be guide or walk-through at any point? Highly doubt I'll be able to find all the endings.
I'll make a walk-through for Kickstarter backers (it was a reward) in January. I hadn't planned to release it for others but I'll think about it. In the meantime, you can still go to the discord and ask for help. The other players and me will be happy to help you! 😁
hello ! Game tested on iMac (Big Sur) in the French version. No technical issue. This game is very interesting, the story is rich and with many events, you have to choose carefully what you want to achieve (if you want to have all romances together you will probably get nothing... and there is far more in this game than only romances !).
You may die (I did on the first test).
But you can also have a good ending.
Even a perfect ending if you choose properly your answers !
I got one on my third trial, with Will, and now I want to check if this is also possible with the other ones, at least some of them...
The music fits perfectly to the action. The backgrounds are nice and there are a lot of different ones. This game is a very good one. Congrats !

Plusieurs personnages différents et aux personnalités très différentes (à première vue que je qualifierai de taciturne, timide, introverti et extraverti pour les quatre principaux, mais la suite peut faire évoluer cette première impression), des façons variées de les aborder, un peu de mystère et de danger, l'histoire démarre d'une bonne façon. Les personnages sont sympas, et le guerrier est carrément séduisant et entreprenant (mais c'est fait exprès, évidemment).
Autre info : j'ai testé sous Mac, cela fonctionne parfaitement bien. Je suis intéressé par la suite, si c'est toujours d'actualité de la réaliser.
La musique est douce et ne gêne pas le jeu, elle met dans une ambiance sympa (du moins, tant que la situation est plutôt calme, cette musique convient).
de rien ! Si cela peut t'aider, je peux le rejouer en anglais, je ne suis pas bilingue mais je ne suis pas mauvais, si cela t'intéresse pour la traduction (si tu as déjà quelqu'un de bon en anglais qui t'aide, ce sera sans doute peu utile).
I'm In love with the game and where it's going. The beginning is thrilling, really excited for the scene with Duran. Really looking for future updates. Thanks for creating the game

J'ai acheté la version PC/MAC que je souhaite installer sur mon Mac mais je ne trouve aucun fichier exécutable pour Mac (uniquement le .exe Windows).

Tu peux te connecter au discord pour discuter plus directement de cela avec moi, si tu veux.
Sinon, quand tu as acheté le jeu, toutes les versions te sont accessibles. Celle qu'il te faut s'appelle : "TheAlchemist-1.03-mac.zip"
Normalement, cela devrait marcher en extrayant cette version.
Note que c'est bien pour Mac et non pour IOS (je n'ai pas fait de version IOS pour l'instant) ;-)

Oh really? I thought I had a good ending already because I had a long-term relationship travelling with Will, but there was no CG.
I'm enjoying the finished game. The map is a nice addition. I like the continuation of the story although I haven't had a good ending yet.
I almost feel like the women in this game need their own story that intersects with the Alchemist's Apprentice using some of the same assets.

There's not many women to romance though, just 2 older ladies. I like them and wouldn't mind their story but I wouldn't romance them.

I have mostly scripting to do, even though the story is set, a lot of detailed scenes need to be written.
I might be able to release a full version by the last quarter of 2021.
